Mission Statement

East Pointe Christian Academy exists to promote the well-being of every student in his/her physical, spiritual, and intellectual development.

Admissions Policy

East Pointe Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, or ethnicity to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. EPCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, athletic and other school administered programs.

Vision Statement

It is our vision for children to develop lifelong Christian character through the integration of Biblical Worldview instruction, making them strong enough to withstand life’s challenges.

EPCA is committed to providing a curriculum with a two-fold purpose:

·     To equip students with a working knowledge of God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:16) and an understanding of God’s unconditional love for every child and the hope of eternal salvation through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

·     To present a challenging and stimulating academic curriculum that encourages a natural curiosity for learning that will prepare them to be independent thinkers, productive citizens, and leaders for Christ in the 21st century (Romans 12:2)

Philosophy

The philosophy of East Pointe Christian Academy is “Semper Excelsius”, which is a Latin term meaning “Always Do Your Best” and is built upon the premise that each student should receive a maximum knowledge of secular subjects and the essentials of culture, in the light of God's Word.  Even though knowledge is factually the same for believer and unbeliever, no subject can be taught in its truth if its originator is ignored.  In searching for the truth, every man develops a system of values and beliefs that directs his every action.  The Christian must develop his philosophy by studying God’s Word, the Bible (John 17:17).  A man whose system of values and beliefs is determined by any source other than God’s Word is susceptible to worldly influences and error.

The Christian’s philosophy must be based on the Lord Jesus Christ as He is revealed in the Scriptures.  Our entire school program is designed to help parents fulfill their spiritual responsibilities found in the Word of God.  (Proverbs 22:6)
