East Pointe Christian Academy is a children’s school ministry under East Pointe Church. 

East Pointe Christian Academy exists to minister the love of Christ and the truth of God's Word to every child and their family regardless of religion, race, or culture. We are dedicated to the cause of providing quality education from a Biblical worldview. Our goal is to strengthen each child spiritually, socially, and academically through a nurturing, structured, stimulating, and safe environment. We aim to foster confidence, enthusiasm, and excellence in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and in their educational achievements. We strive to equip each child with the necessary tools for success in life knowing that today's learners become tomorrow's leaders.

Mrs. Allison Bass is our Head of School. Her role is to oversee the school (teachers, students, curriculum, etc), communicate with parents and help them feel involved,  and ensure the students feel safe and loved at EPCA.

All elementary teachers hold a bachelor’s degree in education. VPK teachers must have a VPK teaching certificate. All preschool teachers must go through the DCF 40 hour training for childcare.

EPCA uses the Abeka. It is a Christian based curriculum that provides a strong foundation for learning.

We are using a software program called Brightwheel, which can be accessed through an app on your phone or on the computer. 

Brightwheel is an all-in-one software platform for preschools, childcare providers, camps, and after-school programs. Brightwheel helps teachers manage their day and communicate with parents, gives parents deeper insight into what their children are learning, and automates the process of managing operations for administrators. It gives parents a closer connection to their child’s learning.
